ABOUT UBD
UBD offers a unique and diverse skill-set that has the ability to easily translate visions into realities. Formed in 2010, UBD has produced a successful number of commercial project interiors and architecture in restaurants, bars and hospitality categories. As we continue to grow, UBD manufactures FF&E throughout Indonesia for both local projects and procurement for international design companies.
Caroline and business partners, Agung and Fariz, understand that there needs to be a perfect marriage between all moving components. Each team member has expertise in specialised areas to collaborate and create perfect harmony.

Caroline immediately understood our concept and brought so much creativity to our vision with custom made furniture and interior details that make it unique. She managed to perfectly recreate a modern Puglia atmosphere and even a sense of Al Fresco dining indoors in Bali. I was connected to Caroline & UBD in 2019, to consult initially for one project ShiShi. Turned out Caroline had designed previously in that space, so she knew the building and design very well. Caroline & the UBD team worked super well with our new vision for the spaces and created three varied themes from the ground floor to rooftop. Was impressed by Caroline’s creativity and design input, her communications throughout were extremely valuable and very happy with the outcome.

The BONITO concept is a fresh casual dining experience and is the sister property to MAURI. We wanted to connect the two restaurants with the concept design again intimating Puglia style, to create harmony between the two restaurants. We immediately sought Caroline’s input to design a very difficult small space. Caroline & UBD team perfectly understood the brief and designed more than we imagined possible, she nailed it! The attention to detail and connection has been achieved so well, there is no other design company we will use, Caroline & UBD for us are the best.
